West Seneca Central School District UPK Program
Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Children must be four years old on or before Dec. 1st of the year that they will be starting school in order to be eligible for the program.

UPK participation will be determined by a random lottery that will be drawn on April 14, 2025.

Registration paperwork will be accepted from January 2, 2024 – April 4, 2025.

In order to be eligible for the lottery, all paperwork and supporting documents must be turned in by April 4, 2025.

Parents/guardians will be notified of the lottery results by email within 1 week of the drawing.

Children not selected will be put on a waiting list.

Families of multiples need to have an application for each child. Twins and triplets are automatically enrolled if their sibling is chosen, so long as there are available slots.

You will need to complete a form for each child that you are registering.

Make sure to select the correct entry year that the student will be starting.

The UPK Registration clerk will review the form and either approve or deny the Pre-Registration based on residency requirements.

Upon approval of the Pre-Registration form, the parent/guardian will receive an email with directions on how to complete the registration through a district Parent Portal Account. The process will include uploading the following required documents:
✔ Proof of Parent or Guardian Identity (NYS Valid Driver’s License or Non-driver’s Identification Card)
✔ Proof of Residency and supporting documentation (Town Tax Bill, Current Mortgage Statement, Current Signed Lease Agreement, HUD Papers or Closing Statement)
✔ If you do not have the residency documentation shown above, please provide a Notarized Statement from your Landlord with TWO additional proofs which may include the following:

- Car registration
- Utility bill
- Bank statement
- Payroll stub
- Government benefit document

✔ Child’s Birth Certificate
✔ Immunization Records signed by a doctor, along with a current Physical.
